Canada is not only among the most secure countries in the world, but it also has a rich cultural variety that attracts students from all over the world. The country is known to provide students with flexibility in their studies too. So if you’re looking to pursue your postgraduate, then you will be happy to hear that the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada has opened up Canada Graduate Scholarships.

About Canada Graduate Scholarships

Canada Graduate Scholarships – Master’s (CGS-M) program aims to support students who have achieved remarkably in their undergraduate and initial graduate work while also aiding in the development of research abilities and further training. Students use the Research Portal to submit their applications and choose what they want to study.

High-caliber academics enrolled in qualified master’s or doctoral programs in Canada are given financial assistance by the CGS M program. These intellectuals can fully focus on their studies in their desired field owing to this funding.

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) partner together for the initiative of the CGS M program, which provides funding for up to 3,000 students yearly across all subject areas.

The Tri-agency is taking action in light of the data showing that building a more equal and fair, multicultural, and inclusionary Canadian research sector is crucial for producing the high-caliber, cutting-edge, and significant research needed to advance understanding and awareness and address local, national, and international obstacles. With the direction of these research entities, the governmental level manages the shortlisting procedure and post-award management.
