Brief description:
The Erasmus University Holland Scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Erasmus University Rotterdam. The scholarship is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their Bachelors or Masters degrees in Holland, hence, Non- EEA students are not allowed to apply. they integrate academic research with excellent, challenging and inspiring education. and offer a broad range of interesting Bachelor programmes, Master programmes and Executive programmes. Highly motivated and talented students have the possibility to participate in our Honours programmes. You can expect Erasmus University Rotterdam to prepare you for a successful future.

As one of the biggest universities in the Netherlands, It was established in 1913 and has a student population of 29,000. The university was ranked as one of top ten business schools in Europe by Financial Times. Also, it was ranked 20th in Europe and 72nd in the world by Times Higher Education in 2015. At the same time, its social sciences ranked 40th while its clinical health ranked 35th in the world. The university has a total of seven faculties.
The university can boast of several infrastructures scattered around the campus. These include wide varieties of lecture rooms, seminar rooms as well as research centers. The school offers a wide range of rooms on campus that can be hired to organize a large event or conference
Level/Field(s) of study:
Bachelors and Masters degree in any subject and any faculty, except for studies at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS). For the Erasmus School of Philosophy (ESPhil), only students of the Research Master in Philosophy and Economics are eligible.
Scholarship value/inclusions:
€ 5,000, € 10,000 or € 15,000 (to be decided by the faculty)
Eligibility:
Applicants must be:
• Non-EEA nationals who have to pay the institutional tuition fee;
• Excellent students according to the respective faculty’s standard;
• Applying for a full-time bachelor or master at Erasmus University Rotterdam;
• Students who did not obtain a diploma at an education institution in the Netherlands; and
• Those who have never been enrolled as a full degree student at an educational institution in the Netherlands.
Application instructions:
The application procedure differs per faculty. Please check the Official Website for the different faculties’ contact and check with your own faculty for more information on the application. Deadline was 1 February 2022 for the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE) and Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) and before or on 1 May 2022 for all other faculties.
